re: Why are we declaring coach O the future after these three games?

Well he's doing everything most tiger fans wanted done since 2011 BCS Game vs Bama.
That being said:
The REAL Games are THE NEXT 4 ... THEN we can talk about him maybe becoming the next LSU football coach. Lots of football to play before LSU needs to pick their new HC.

Lets face it Alleva is praying Coach O wins so he can name his as HC and get him at a bargain because LSU burned the bridge with Fisher last year and Herman doesn't want to come to LSU...

not sure who is doing this - many just like what they see so far and haven't written him off yet as a candidate. Some are taking not removing him from consideration to mean OMG you just like his cajun accent and want to hire him right now to a lifetime contract after 3 games. He has beaten 3 teams that are average at best - he needs to keep winning if he wants to be seriously considered for the job
This X1000. There very well may be some that think he should be hired now, but I have not seen any posts stating that. Let it play out.
That being said, interim or not, if O is able to navigate murderer's row and finish the regular season without a loss it's going to be hard to not seriously consider him.

Im starting to think that all the "we want coach o" people are the old "les miles is our man" crowd. They feed off of emotion and character rather than a coaches ability to coach up talent or make in game adjustments, manage the clock etc. They are the same people calling us negatigers for wanting our team to be coached into their full playing potential and contend for championships. Some of our fan base has been drinking the water from Flint, Michigan.

has he showed you that he can't coach or something?

Why can't we just wait until the season plays out?
I feel the same way, at the end of the season analyze how he did and then make a determination.

We don't have very bright fans and put to much emphasis on personality and likeness in culture
All i hear around here is how great it is to have a coonass be the LSU headman.

Sarcasm?

He hasn't earned it yet. People that say had him the job now really have no idea what they are talking about. If this were Bradley Dale Pevoto ripping off three wins as interim nobody would be saying anything about hiring him as head man.

I think that's how a lot of his supporters live their lives. Immediate gratification is all that matters, future consequences be damned.
That's the only conclusion I can come to when those same supporters look at Herman or Jimbo and think they can't coach just because they lost a game or two.

I really don't know why i'm melting. This is LSU folks we're talking about here after all.
Once he loses a couple of games, the heat will come. Fans will melt hard like always then his seat won't be so cool anymore. Like to see how he handles the job when all of the coonasses refrain from licking his taint.

Allow me to sit back and chuckle at the thought of BDP as LSU's HC.

Well he has head coaching experience too.

I used to think this but now I kinda think he's going to get a pass if he loses because he is that manager, not the x's and o's guy. All of the heat will fall on the coordinators. I'm thinking Ensminger will be the scapegoat.

He doesn't have "the voice" though. Lol.
