I’d make Durkin tell me no. And then I’d offer him even more and make him say no again. And then I’d annoy him until he finally says yes he will come to LSU.

He took Wake from fringe top 100 to top 25, has multiple stops including a strong one at Michigan State from 2020-2023, and coached with Lane at USC.

He's a pretty good coach.
Lane is hiring him because he coached under him at usc.
