Chris Ash is still twisting in the wind at Texas. I doubt they keep him and he runs a 4-2-5 base. Definitely someone to keep an eye on if Nielsen turns out to be unobtainable.

Is Nielsen going to get serious consideration for a NFL DC position after this year? That's the only way I could see us missing out on him. He and O are close. You would think they have already discussed him coming to LSU. I would be incredibly surprised if O is waiting around on him blindly hoping he is interested.

Schuamann is interesting but i don't think I'd give him the whole defense.

Lukabu has never been a DC, and just signed with BC to be their DC. I doubt he would crap all the guys that gave him his first DC job, and jump ship. We’re not in a position to have to take a chance on a 0 experience guy. With this unit coming back and the wealth of new talent each year, there should be a line to O’s door for that role.
