Why does this board think that if there’s no public announcement via press conference, that nothing is going on??
I mean, are we that pretentious these days that we think we are privy to all the behind the scenes info? Because we’re not…
We fall for these phenomenal troll jobs, believe the drivel they put out, and then run with it without even considering the source because (a) we want the info to be true so we believe it no matter what or (b) we believe it because it’s worst possible scenario for LSU and we get to cry and bitch about it
On top of that, we have people today mad and throwing hissy fits because Lane was trolling UF and LSU… was he??? Or was he doing his due diligence and sending his camp out to check out his potential suitors
This place can be great for so many reasons but it can also be fricking terrible for the same reasons. People need to get a grip, relax a little, and let the information come out whenever it comes out. We have full blown adults here kicking and screaming for ‘sauces’ when we’ve seen time and time again, these people are full of shite

They should have kept Franklin until the end of the year to make sure they get a name they think is an upgrade. Drink is not an upgrade to franklin

Most likely will be poaching G5 guys or in conference coordinators. I think Hartline or Matt Patricia is in line for the Penn State job and OSU will go hire Daboll. Arky is either gonna stick with Patrino (The fall out of his return already came and went) or go for Rhett Lashlee, Eric Morris or if Kiffin does come here, they might poach Golding or Charlie Weis Jr. Auburn is all in on Summerall, maybe even Willy Fritz or anybody who can build while being familiar with recruiting the gulf. If Kiffin does leave, Ole Miss might jack Summerall from Auburn

Everything I've read points to Sumerall/Durkin as 1a/1b for Auburn with Drink and Lea next. Seems like AU wants Sumerall, but they also want to keep Durkin as DC, which seems I don't think will happen, since Durkin is actively pursuing the job.
Of course if Lane bolts for LSU/UF, then the situation becomes more muddled with rumors that OM would aggressively pursue Sumerall as their #1.
