Who Still Wants the Houston Coach's and Spread Offense?

Like always, the spread, fun and gun, and other gimmick offenses get exposed. Anyone watching the Air Force beat down. Pro Style Offenses rule.

You cant throw the ball 75% of the time and expect to win alot in the SEC.

Houston doesn't throw the ball 75% of the time. They throw it a shite ton, but lets not go making up stats.

Haha, what a tard. Of course this one half of one game supersedes anything and everything accomplished prior to it, any team using a pro-style offense has never been shut down in a game or half and LSU's offense wasn't really ranked 107th in the nation because AF is beating Houston.

My point is that spread offenses rarely work in major college football or the pro's. I'm pulling for Houston, but there are a lot on this board who want this sort of offense at LSU. Not me. And I'm not insinuating that Air Force runs more of a pro style -- merely pointing out that balance and good defense wins.

The Patriots threw the ball over 60% of the time in 07, but clearly you can't win in the SEC doing that

Drizz, I'm making this comment from watching college and pro football for 48 years -- have had LSU season tickets for 48 years. I'm not making any judgment from one game. Obviously, you would like to see LSU have the Houston offensive philosophy -- don't you?

It's not how often you through it, guys, it is the offensive philosophy, formations, and schemes. I am a diversified pro-style offensive guy who likes what the Patriots, Saints, Steelers, and Eagles do. June Jones, Jerry Glanville, Steve Spurrier's offenses failed big time in the NFL.
