I would rather have special teams that contribute to winning than the cluster that he puts out there every game. Recruiters we have. What kicker have got on this roster than can go a game without kicking it out of bounds or a punter that isn't good for at least one shank per game?

wouldn't be surprised if he left for a hc or dc job if offered. we are getting him for a bargain this season and he is way overqualified to be a d-line coach.

I don't think anyone leaves.
Cam will get an extension, I believe his contract is up after this year.
Steele should never have been hired, he's a joke despite what excuses some will try to make for him, but I doubt he goes and I doubt Les has the balls to do what Saban did to him and demote him after one year.
BDP will not be gone unfortunately. The fact he was brought back in the first place was pathetic on Les' part, but not a shock given Les' history. People were clamoring for him to stay because he was the key for recruiting Franks who is now rumored to be bailing.
Honestly, this team will bring in talent and then waste it on all 3 phases of the game, because as history has shown us, Les doesn't have the guts to actually fire someone when they deserve it. He waits until someone else is finally stupid enough to take them off our hands, which is usually several years too late.

No, he's not. No one is so good in the recruiting biz that their inability to coach supersedes that.

I know it's his signature attribute, but Coach O is working entirely too hard on the recruiting trail to leave after this season. If anything I think Les will give him a co DC title with Steele, which I would love. He basically already is one anyways.

I agree with BDP. Miles almost made it clear after the SC game that BDP might be job hunting soon.
I think the only other realistic chance of a coach leaving the coaching staff is Kragthorpe. That's mostly for health reasons.
Steele has done nothing wrong IMO with the depth of players he's working with. For his first year, and considering his recruiting and LB coaching abilities, I'd like to see him get his chance to prove himself with a deeper roster of the kind of guys he likes to work with.. aka the bigger ones.
ETA: If it were up to me, I'd hire George Whitfield as qb coach. Then I'd make it Cam's perogative to instill a power run/short pass hybrid offense. I'd give Steele more time to bring the big guys in, call Wilson head coach in waiting (which he might already be as assistant HC), and consider Orgeron a co-DC and assistant recruiting coordinator. To take BDP's spot I'd hire back Joe Robinson.
