I think Coley was lined up to join him last season if he would have ended up at LSU.
And personally I would want as many of my offensive staff as I could bring to make the transition of installing a new offense less complicated.

I doubt he would keep six current LSU coaches. New coach hires usually bring their favorites with them and don't keep that many.

Jimbo, if he is hired, will cost Alleva his job.

he got lucky w Winston... end of story IMHO .

they have 3 loses and they are not in the SEC.

Talent alone does not win championships. Talent and great coaching does not ensure championships, either. Florida programs will always struggle with consistency because of the dynamics in the locker room. There are more bust with Florida prospects than any other state. That is fact. Urban left Florida simply because of the headaches in trying to manage a roster filled with knuckleheads. Fact. This is one of the main reasons Jimbo is considering making this move.

Tricket is a damn good OL coach, he would be a big upgrade.

One of the most ridiculous things I've read. Fsu was the poster child for consistency from 88-00. A top 5 finish almost every year and 2 ncs.
Miami- made a bad hire with Coker and Shannon and don't have resources
Florida- made a horrible hire in mischamp and they're still recovering
Fsu---struggles were due to an aging Bowden. Jimbo has been great with them. Two playoff appearances and an nc
