Wade cucks can’t let it go even into 2024
And I'll be cucking for him for however long he is a basketball coach
I want to give you crap but I know you are a legit LSU MBB fan. So I'll just say that I have no issue with guys pulling for Wade, he was fun if sometimes frustrating (like all coaches

His signed LSU Basketball is still my most prized piece of sports memorabilia

He’ll get hired somewhere else and Dickie V won’t say a peep.

lol why would Wade come back to a school that fired him for no reason?

I’ve seen some talking heads mention DePaul but I think he’ll have better teams make an offer

Louisville is going to be THE big job on the market. I'm certain Wade would want to be in the mix, but I don't think he will be their #1 choice. I'd look for them to go after Chris Beard.
After that, it's very possible jobs like Arizona St, VCU and Florida St. could be in play. I think Wade's preference would be to go to the Virginia/mid-Atlantic area where he has strong recruiting ties. But if I had to bet, I'd say Florida St might be the spot.

Kentucky.
What will be entertaining is how Vitale changes his tune on Wade when that happens.

The ones still crying about it, boycotting LSU basketball and hoping they fail, so you c-u-n-t-s can smile can all go frick yourselves. I don’t pull for any coach no matter who is here. I pull for LSU and all you rats pulling against them can double frick yourselves
What about those of us who think WW was, and still is, an excellent coach, and who enjoyed LSU bball more than ever when he was coaching, and wish he was still here..... BUT also still want LSU basketball to succeed, while also wishing WW the best wherever he is.
Are we also rats?

I think Wade coaches next year at McNeese and if they are still trending up, he'll get a bigger job. I could see Sankey blackballing him for a few more years though, like he did with Hugh Freeze when Bama tried to hire him as OC. It's still too fresh.

I sure hope that is a possibility. McNeese basketball is a blast right now! I wonder if his contract was written in a way that at least two years would be expected?

Most LSU basketball fans...the actual fans, not the internet virtue signalers...didn't want Wade to be fired. More importantly, the boosters/doners still like him. Wade and the LSU admin would have to both swallow some pride, but he could essentially step right in and pick up from where he left off with the "money people".
That being the case, staying in the state of Louisiana may be a bit more appealing than going elsewhere. If he takes another job, at another school, in another state, he's going to have to build relationships with the key boosters from scratch. He wouldn't have to do that LSU. Which is important because....Recruiting is (largely) about NIL now, and you need people willing to fund it.
Finally, there is no risk of a "repeat violation". Clandestine calls with shady "runners" and ambiguous discussions about "strong arse offers" are pretty much unnecessary now. Plus, given how much of a dud the investigation into college basketball recruiting was, it's unlikely the DOJ wastes their time investigating it again.
Would there be some bad PR from the usual media virtue signalers? Of course. But who gives a shite? I don't see those same losers talking about LSU basketball now. Why? Because they haven't done anything of note, besides lose, since Wade left. It's time ADs grow a pair and stop worrying about what the Pat Fordes of the world think/write. Fans of LSU basketball, i.e. your customer base, don't care about what he and his ilk thinks. If the team is winning, they will show up. Even if the media doesn't like the coach. Conversely, fans aren't going to show up to support a losing coach just because he is "media approved".
How do I know that? Just compare two games vs., ironically, Vanderbilt. In 2019 the Yahoo article about Wade broke two days before the season finalize vs. Vanderbilt where LSU had a chance to win the SEC. The PMAC was not only slammed packed, but one was one of the more raucous environments seen there in quite some time. So much so that the crowd that night essentially got Joe Alleva fired. LSU basketball fans could not have given any less of a shite about the allegations. They were fully behind the HC (though suspended) who was responsible for the best conference record in nearly 40 years!
Tonight LSU plays Vanderbilt again. And while there is some glimmer of optimism going into this game for the first time in a year, the PMAC will still be about 50% or so full. The LSU HC is a good guy. The media isn't rehashing the same hit pieces against him. Yet, few fans really care...because they are not being entertained by the state of the program.

No.... they shouldn't. That arse-hat could have SEVERALLY damaged the LSU program across the board because he WAS PAYING PLAYERS out of his own bank account.
