Bruce Feldman has been mentioning Greg Schiano a lot for Oregon. He has connections but that's an odd fit at best.

Schiano, Rhule, and Fleck.

The recruiting coordinator at Temple, Berthal, just followed our entire recruiting class. He played fullback for UMASS and Rutgers. He also just followed all of WMU and Houston class and the director for player development that has ties to Schiano.

It's happening whoever it is.

Scott Frost

Frost would just be more of the shame. He would be a huge reach after being a head coach for only 1 year.

Bruce Feldman just tweeted out that Willie Taggert is a candidate at Oregon. That would be a phenomenal hire. He's going to make some athletic director look very smart.

Local Portland radio has mentioned numerous names such as Florida's coach because of his NW ties. I cannot see that happening and would be a bad fit. Bisonduck you aren't too far from me if you are in Oregon City

Oregon: You know how we have been doing that offense thing for a while, and have been pretty good? Lets stop that

As an LSU fan I don't want Florida opening up again. Mac is not a bad coach but that program will never hit their ceiling with him. The Florida fans I know would not cry real hard if he left.

Biggest knocks on Mac are the lack of offense from a guy who claimed his dog could play qb in his system and win. That and the jury is still out on his recruiting.

I watch the games and i see WRs running open but we dont have a QB to get them the ball so the plays are there, but the execution isnt.
If he stays, and he doesnt land a top 10 class and his offense stinks it up next year his seat will be on fire imo.

It's not MAC.

Taggart is the hot name right now.

Agree Taggart seems the most likely right now. Would be a pretty good hire for them. Need to get a solid DC in there as well. Brady Hoke messed all sorts of stuff up hahaha
