After yesterday it appears that Strong gets at least one more year at UT.

With LSU's loss to Bama, O is not likely to be HC at the end of the year. Does Herman come to LSU, stay at UH another year, go somewhere else?

With a little more clarity in the coaching landacape where do you think Herman lands come December?

You think even if Alleva can get Jimbo he would take Herman? I don't think so. I think he would take the "safe bet" to keep his job a while longer.

I'm not against Herman, fyi. I'm just thinking about it from Alleva's perspective.

At this point I would predict that he will end up at LSU. He should be LSU's #1 candidate above the crowded field.

I'm still not convinced Alleva takes him over Jimbo if Jimbo says yes for same salary.

Houston.

He is about to lose two more games this year in addition to the Navy and SMU losses. It would be stupid for a program like LSU to hire a guy in his first head coaching gig who's team is getting worse over time.

No where else except LSU. Herman and Aranda will rule the Saban's world. It's time to be a contender for the ship next year with Herman the wizard.

I'll say the same thing to you that I said to the "CEO pumpers" -- we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Right now, Herman has had Houston punching well above its weight for the majority of their games.

#51 - Houston
#76 - SMU - Herman loss
#124 - Navy - Herman loss

I just find it highly unlikely he remains at Houston. I feel like someone, LSU or not, will get him this year. If he stays at Houston after this year, i would predict it is because he decided to do so, not because no one wanted him.

Naw, there may be a lower level team than Houston willing to take a shot on him. McNeese State should look at him.

Give it up.

He hates Herman and rather give the job to a lifetime position coach.

Orgeron wouldn't win 7 games at Houston, much less 13.

He doesn't realize that even coaches like Saban have lost to schools like an SMU.

And LSU losing to a UAB is a horribly pathetic loss even to this day. That should NEVER happen, but it did to the GREATEST CFB COACH OF ALL TIME. And he did it again against ULM. And UH has talent but it doesn't have LSU talent or Bama talent. Saban let that talent lose to shitty teams in shifty conferences. It happens to great coaches.

But Herman loses and he's held to a higher standard than even a legend like Saban.

And I'm not saying Herman should be given the job, but I put him in the top tier and that's why you have the interview process.

I hope they ban you eventually. You're terrible and add nothing to this board.

Those who want Herman need Charlie to beat West Virginia this weekend.
