In no world could I see Petrino and Fisher coexisting together. How many times would Fisher have to interrupt play calls or get all spastic before Petrino would punch him in the face.

That would be a train wreck waiting to happen.

Same Athletic article mentions they couldn't even do the buyout if it was half of what it is. Have fun with the taxman for the next decade

Petrino with top 5 talent could put together some of the best offenses anyone has ever seen.

It would suck for Arkansas, but as a football fan and a fan of Petrino’s offense, I’d love to see it.

Not sure how to feel about Petrino. I’ve always thought he was a great offensive mind but this feels like it would be a semi retirement gig with a last pay check for him and that is not what we need.

Don’t try to have an actual discussion with these retards here. They look at this like an extension of the rant.

Petrino employs his son and his son in law as assistant coaches at Missouri State

he's not bailing on them

is petrino actually a possibility though?

the baggage that man carries is bigger than the bags that AncientTiger had the Money Talk dudes carry to this day.

Yeah, Bobby is way too loyal to betray family.

Agree. The bigger issue though is Jimbo isn’t getting out the way.

You guys will have what you have until he’s gone. He will do just enough to give you hope then crush it repeatedly.

He was mentioned as a possibility by some folks that would know so I assume so. It seems like Riley was the top choice and is holding out for a HC job (can’t blame him). Part of the criteria for me at least is someone who has the authority and Jimbo will respect enough to hopefully leave him the frick alone, which is a box Petrino would check.

Overall it feels like a low probability move though

They'll get Joe Brady since they're obsessed with LSU's sloppy seconds.

I could see petrino taking that job just to snake his way into being interim head coach.
