What Orgeron said about hiring our next OC on Mike & Mike

Well if Kiffin is Orgeron's number 1 candidate for LSU's OC then he feels that will happen per his interview on Mike & Mike. When going into candidates as to a list Coach O said you have to have a list of candidates and if the 1st on the list says No you have to move on to the second, but that he feels they will get it done with the 1st choice.
So whomever Orgeron has down on his list as his first choice for OC he feels confident he will get it done. He felt confident that Aranda would stay and be his DC and that has happened so I have to give him credit where credit is due, and if he now says he thinks he is going to get his first choice for OC hired at LSU, well we could have one hell of a ride going forward!!!
With Orgeron and Kiffin recruiting this could be epic because Kiffin is a hell of a recruiter also!!! Too bad Wilson isn't still here to be part of what could be, although I am happy for him and what he is doing at UTSA.

Briles is first choice. He's not in demand for HC gigs now. Needs to gradually move back into the limelight. Kiffin will get bites from smaller schools after this season.

Don't hire people that are your friends just because they are your friends when there are better candidates out there. Miles did that with Cameron and BDP and look where all 3 of them are right now - LOOKING FOR JOBS!!!

Now could he still crawfish if he hasn't signed the deal? Absolutely, but Aranda would look like shite in the coaching world "like a Petrino" which I don't think that is his character.

So you don't believe in giving people second chances. Do you know what his job title is or what duties are? If no to either question then how do you know that there is someone more qualified? You're basically full of bullshite.
