Who is the favorite in this search, seems like it changes everyday and after 8 weeks it feels like this isn't close to done.
Maybe it is but I can't get a feel for it.

clearly wanted Miles, and now they are left in a pickle.

Muschamp
Pruitt
Riley
Those are the 3 names circulating right now.
I think you're over on Cockytalk aren't you? That place is a total shitshow right now.

Muschamp is interviewing today, right? Please just take Pruitt.

They can still have him if they want him

I would go with a guy like Dino Babers at Bowling Green before I went with Muschamp.
For yall's sake hopefully he goes to UGA as DC.
Pruitt would recruit like a monster but he's very green to take over a rebuilding job in the SEC like you all currently have.
He could stack the roster for the next guy though if he doesn't get the W's.

I would take Riley over the other two personally

I think Riley's age and relative inexperience is an issue at this point.

They like experienced coaches at SC. Probably wrapping up terms with Bill Snyder.

He doesn't have an NC. I'm hearing Jim Tressel or Bobby Bowden, with Mack Brown as the darkhorse.

I can't understand why they wouldn't reach out to Chad Morris. If they take Muschamp and get Pruitt to be DC doesn't make much sense. Offer Morris and lockdown Pruitt as DC. Just seems more balanced to me.

You know SMU is 2-10 right?

I do think Jim Tressel would be a good hire for a desperate program. He gets out of NCAA jail next december.

Anyone who expected them to have more than 2 wins was on crack.
Until he fixes the defense he wont be winning big.
Babers is their best guy if they go after him.

Columbia reporter just retweeted reports that Muschamp has reached out to Clemson's Jeff Scott for the OC position. Jeff is the son of former Gamecock coach Brad Scott. Jeff is co-offensive coordinator, former Clemson player, top recruiter, and the one I would want to fill Dabo's shoes if Dabo were to ever leave.
Don't see him jumping ship quite yet.
