If Miles were to resign it wouldn't be until after bowl season. Who could you get to replace him that would be better? The "sexy" names will have already been snapped up by that point or have no intentions of going anywhere.

Yeah, I'm sick of being a perennial contender. Also, the memory on LSU fans is atrocious. No one seems to remember that before we got Saban and Miles, LSU had hired a who's who of shitty coaches. But I'm sure we can do much better ! Come on Gruden!! /s.

Mark Richt's got better odds of retiring than Saban, IMO.... Richt has another calling in life and has things he wants to do beyond football.

Saban doesn't do anything but football.... I firmly believe he'll stay at Bama as long as they'll have him, or he strokes out on the sideline.

With his daughter attending it would be interesting, but I doubt Miles would be a good fit at UT.

Initially I would have said the same thing about Miles at LSU. Winning tends to silence a lot of critics.

Except at LSU

I don't think so - not because he's not a great coach, because I actually think he is - but in all the so-called insider talk his name is never mentioned. I don't think he'd take it even if offered, he turned down Michigan, correct?

Bill Snider @ KSU is like 100 years old!

Snyder sold his soul to the devil, he will be forced to coach for another 100 years.
