Campbell losing to Napier would not upset the masses here. And lose badly. But, then hire him! LOL

Dude always chokes vs Iowa when he has a highly ranked team entering the season.

I'd give it a B- if that's who it was.

I think Campbell would be a A- solid hire, the guy is a good coach that has Iowa St competitive every year. He doesn't have LSU talent, yet, his teams are competitive always beating ranked teams. I think he wins a NC with LSU talent, and he'll keep up the recruiting in LA and definitely outside with having midwest and west coast connections and all. It's between him and Napier in my book.

Aranda has done a good job at Baylor, but I don't feel him as the type that will take on and defeat a Nick Saban. Aranda would just be a smart version of Orgeron, a much smarter and sharper of a HC that just delegates his coaching power. He'll have to find a sure fire OC because that's not his side of the ball whereas Campbell and Napier know explosive offense.

shite, I liked Gundy from Okie St with his always explosive offenses every season, back when LSU hired Miles I thought they hired the wrong Okie St guy and it should have been (I'm a man) Gundy. Lol Dude would only need to bring defense to LSU with his explosive brand of ball.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't he on record stating he doesn't like recruiting 5 stars?

If true, that alone makes him a bad fit for LSU.

Was that reported by the same guy that said Aranda doesn't want to be a HC?

He'll definitely have to change that tune down in the bayou. ?? But I think the guy would be a good fit for LSU.
