He's made those hippies in California a winner. Plus he'd give us awesome connections in Cali. adnd might help us get Darrell Scott.

exactly he's built Cal up to respectable, but their collapse this year is very disturbing.

touche' Egg. My top 2 candidates are Jim Leavitt and Spuurier, but I decided I'd test the waters with some other candidates.

Tedford's in the wrong place for a dominant football program.

He'd be a solid hire. Not a great one like SOS or The Chin, but not a reach like Petersen or Kelly.

he is very unhappy with the administration of cal for the constant refusal to invest the money needed to update their faciltities

he "lost it" when he lost stoops

you pair spurrier with a top notch defense and he can win some big games

Maybe but I think SS would live off our current talent, get lazy on the recruiting trail, win his NC and move along.

Good short term answer, bad in the long run

LSU most likely will never be able to consistantly recruit California talent. We are much better off spening our time between Texas and Florida.

I'd prefer Chris Petersen over Tedford.

I mean he has the possibility to win NCs, yes.

However I'm not sure if he has the fire to keep up the talent level here and develop our younger players.
