I would actually lean more towards Haley being the a-hole than the other way around.

He's the head man. It's his 5 million dollar job on the line. If he wants to be hands on with his offense he has every right to be.

then don't hire an OC who is obviously going to want full control. It goes both ways. This should have been brought up in the job interview.

Urban Meyer doesn't speak ill about other coaches. In fact, after his win yesterday he said he felt great handing over the keys to Muschamp in such a fashion because it will make the offseason a lot easier on him.

this sounds like muschamp is taking a very strong business approach. if you don't know how to do something then hire the best person you can to do the job and let them do the job. then you do what you do best. you don't always get along perfectly with everyone in an organization.
muschamp is at florida and he has to win now. look at how they complained about meyer and he won 2 NCs.

So a puppet ? No. Haley felt it was in his best interest to hire the best available candidate for the job. Obviously Weis and his fat arse ego didn't like the way Haley has his input so he's leaving.
I wouldn't be shocked at all to see a guy like McDaniels now get that job. You know why ? Cause Haley is going to hire the best possible candidate available and not a puppet
