I like what Lee Corso said about Weis coming to UF. Corso said that Weis is not the guy to work under a first-time, young head coach. Corso said Weis will make Muschamp into "Ron Zook II" if he hires him.

that makes no sense
he's a guy with HC experience and a ton of NFL experience. he's an a-hole, but if muschamp gives him full autonomy i don't see where they'd clash much. now if muschamp doesn't plan on giving full autonomy, there could be a major blow up

the only thing possibly lacking is a workhorse RB
they have a pro-style QB, lots of talented WRs, and a good OL

We have a pro style QB (Although he sucks), pro style RB (Mack Brown/Mike Gilislee), we have a ton of WRs. What else does he need?

well a pro style QB that doesn't suck 
and I'm not convinced Mack Brown can really be considered suitable for that type of offense seeing as he's a little light. How is the o-line looking? I know Pouncey is huge but are the rest smallish or anything?

I think Weis is bright enough to make something out of what's there next year.

Pouncey is gone.
I think we return 3 starters (might be 2). But out OLine is one of the biggest in the country. They are all 300+.

didn't realize he was a sr. that's sort of surprising to me that they are that big. If LSU hired Weis I'm not sure I'd be in love with the hire right away but it could definitely grow on me.

RT Marcus Gilbert 6'5 320
RG Maurice Hurt 6'3 320
C Mike Pouncey 6'4 310
LG Jon Halapio 6'4 300
LT Xavier Nixon 6'5 300
Our C next year is Sam Robey who is 6'4 292 though.

If I had to guess it will look something like this:
DB: Akina (I'm not too sure about this one, DB coach at Texas, he's coached numerous all americans. Not that big of a deal considering we will be losing Heater who is just as good.)
LB: Willis (Coming from Texas Tech, he is a recruiting wiz)
DE: Durkin (He coached LBs this year and the group was subpar, but it was his first year at LB coach and DE Coach is his forte)
DC/DL: Dan Quinn ( Seattle Seahawks DL Coach, coached with Muschamp at Miami in 2005)
ST: Bisaccia (He's the ST Coach for the Tampa Bay Bucs)

Informative post. Don't know much about Quinn. Akina got demoted from Co-DC at Texas to make way for Muschamp. Is Willis in trouble with the law?

Texas fans hated Akina at DC but he's the best at DB Coach. He's coached:
3 Thorpe Award winners (Daryll Lewis, Michael Huff, and Aaron Ross)
8 All Americans (Daryll Lewis, Michael Huff, Aaron Ross, Nathan Vasher, Bryant Westbrook, Aaron Ross, Quentin Jammer, Rod Babers).

This. Meyer sitting in Gainesville is a very loose, very large cannon.
If you think Urban has the class to refrain from commenting on the new coaching, think again. Every reporter in the State will shove the Idiot Stick in his face and ask him:
A. his opinion; and
B. 'When will you get back into coaching (i.e., the Gators)?'
This will not be positive. Urban doesn't do positive when it comes to competing coaches. And in his eyes, Muschamp is an interloper.
As to Weis, same thing. With his background will he respect Muschamp as the HC or see him as just another coordinator that got lucky? With the egos that typically come with this level football coaches, my bet is on the latter.
These issues will appear the first time Florida runs into trouble. With their 2011 schedule, we won't have to wait to see the show.
All of this is what happens when Foley makes the monumental mistake of not going after Mullen.
