If they announce Wednesday they likely didn't strike out that bad. The home run hire would have been announced yesterday or today, just like USC and FLA. Wednesday would also mean it's not likely a coach playing this weekend. Possible if it's a coordinator but probably not a current head coach playing a championship game.
