looking at the next tier of coaches.Most have already been discussed on this board. Thats not a bad thing Saban and miles werent top tier coaches when they were hired at LSU. We have everything here to make a mid tier coach a top tier coach in a few years

I'v been going back and forth about Herman. Evidently Houston was 6-2 when Ward took over at QB in 2014 and was predicted to bowl over the AAC in 2015 before Herman was even hired. I think he's a good coach, possibly even great but we've seen this before. A coach can get over valued due to a great college qb and a weak conference.

If Hermam makes the playoffs he may be off limits until Jan to talk to which is too late to wait on. If he makes it to the big game he won't leave.
