I don’t believe anyone would be bragging about hiring him as a HC. Great d line coach though.

You're about to see how well he does as a head coach.

Win by 5 TDs this week and he’ll have outdone Barry Odom!

If Tennessee is a good of a job as everyone says it is, then why have the last two coaches been Derek Dooley and Butch Jones?

To be fair, Jones was seen as a good hire. He had Cincinnati and Central Michigan ranked in season ending polls.

LSU is supposed to be a top ten coaching job and look who we landed.

Lol at a Tennessee fan for being dumb enough to laugh at a program that hasn't had a losing season since 1999. Your team has a currrent losing streak to every school in the SEC...which I believe has never been done before.

You are at rock bottom, looking up at everyone else. You are so far down those stones you are attempting to throw our way won't reach us up here.

I am sure that some in the fan base were upset when we hired a little known Nick Saban from Michigan State but it worked out.

All fans want the home run hire. But those "home run" hires at one point were smaller school coaches. And the home run hires are realistically not available.

Have fun with Gruden if you want. When you analyze Gruden's record he really was a one hit wonder. With some of the other coaches you have available for your job Gruden would be a miss.

And I missed when O had a losing streak to every team in the SEC. O went 6-2 last year and is 7-3 this year so far.

Either Mizzou or UT would kill for that right now.

Not only is Sexton a UT Alum, but Nick Saban calls Sexton one of his best friends.

I've wondered who pulls whose strings.

I would kill myself if we hired a D-Line coach, is that what you mean?

Glad LSU is happy with him though .
