His record with offenses and QB's speaks for itself and he's only 45. Many more chances coming for Kliff, he's just too good of a QB coach and OC not to get more.

He'll get another HC job eventually, and he'll fail at that, just like he has every head coaching job he's ever gotten. He's just not a good head coach, some guys aren't. If it wasn't obvious enough to everyone on the planet, it should have been after they did Hard Knocks with Arizona. Dude looked like a bozo talking to the team and in meetings. He had no command over the team and it was pretty clear he wasn't involved in much outside of the QB and offense. You contrast that with Hard Knocks with the Lions and see a huge difference between guys that are cut out to be head coaches in the NFL.

Honestly he’s a bit overrated as an OC too

Seems to be a trend with his teams that they hit the ground quick and usually have a high floor and fast results but plateaus quickly and is often patched over by his QBs athleticism bailing them out

His philosophy and play calling style emphasizes simplicity and everything being very easy and quick for the QB. Similar to early Chip Kelly days. Which makes it great for young QBs to adapt quickly but it doesn’t challenge them enough over time to further develop after the opposing teams adjust to their talent

He was the perfect OC for Daniels to come in with, but I think to get to the next level they need an OC will challenge him more mentally and schematically to take that next leap.

but I feel like the saints are a learn on the fly for him and after he fails ( and learns from his mistakes)
one thing I haven’t heard that will make the Saints job more attractive is the low expectations. It’s the total opposite of a “win now” job.

And if a coach is gone in two or three years he won’t catch much of the blame with an uncompetitive roster

Not sure about that, Redskins went from 24th offense in '23 to #7 this year with a rookie QB. He's a great OC and QB coach and as I said before when you are that young still you are going to get plenty of looks for HC as well. Not to mention he won a division title his first go around with crappy AZ.

I still think he should learn and mature for another year and take a HC gig next year though.

Yeah I know, did you read my post? My concerns are his ability to adapt and evolve. My entire point is that he has a very high floor and gets quick results but over time it does not evolve to counter teams scheming against them

Feel like Brady would be amazing.

Why would you say that? I’m not sure he has the ability to identify talented asst coaches.

Look whom he brought with him to Carolina and whom he recommended to O.
