it would be a great hire for them. He is a good coach and has proven that.
Possibly. We have different philosophies. I caught shite for saying Brian Kelly was overrated at Cincy last year as well, and the jury is still out. Time will tell, but I think Vandy should look at an established coordinator at a big time program.

they lost their qb which absolutely killed any chance they had of being successful.

Holy shite. Just get Vandy out of the SEC. They appear to have no interest in trying to field a competitive football program.
Golden is a future star. I doubt he would go to Vandy.

roger just admit you saw a coach associated with temple, flew off the handle, and judged before even looking into the guy.
it would be a very solid hire for them

1 year. No kidding the jury is still out.
same with Turner Gill.
You don't go to Buffalo or Temple and win. It doesn't happen. It says alot about a coach if you have one winning season at either of those programs. Golden has won 3 straight years now.
If Vandy were to get Golden, it'd be a solid hire.

that would be a great hire for vandy. matter of fact, he can come to LSU if he wants.

If the planets align and Miles moves on, Golden should be on the list.

So should every program looking to be a head coach.

Really? The Guy has won at Temple. Temple!!!
Urban Meyer was at a MAC school and Mountain West School for only four total years as a head coach before comeing to the SEC. Spurrier was at Duke two years before going to Florida. Bobby Johnson was a head coach at Furman of all places for six years before going to Vandy. Look at what Brady Hoke has done out of the MAC. Terry Hoeppner isn't tearing it up, but he has Indiana competitive (as competitive as Indiana can be in the Big 11). Gary Pinkel was in the MAC for a lot longer, but he's having success at Mizzou.

Yeah, he sucked with that Chris Leak guy...Wait?
I do have to say, that he misused Brantley early in the season, but they seemed to be getting things together as the season went on.

Jim Tressel has been nothing short of an embarrassment to OSU after being hired directly from Youngstown St.
