Vance was a Colorado Buff during their glory days.
He was part of that Buff pipeline into New Orleans in that era, and has DEEP ties in NOLA.He would be great for recruiting that area!

Did he play CB at Colorado? He did play corner for the Jets and Colts. (Of course, Marcus Randall played safety and LB for the Titans.)

I think he was converted to DB after he signed with the Jets.

I agree that could have an impact, but I just hate to see race coming in as an issue. Some people on here take it way too far.

i find it hard to believe that dreaux doesnt know who vance joseph is.maybe you need a touch up on louisiana high school football and its history.

There are 3 Joseph brothers who are football coaches. Mickey who was QB at Neb U, Vance and Terry (I think) who coaches at Tech. Vance was in the final group for HC at NMSU. That was in the Las Cruces Sun. Walker was there for a final interview and we suppose to be hired. Vance would have been great, but the AD wanted a Spread type O. After today, he may rethink his options. They are outstanding coaches, I am told. I have seen Mickey in action when installing the option at Nicholls. Recruiting connections are very strong.

A couple of the brothers coached and taught at Shaw for awhile. One got fired for showing the movie "wild things" to his class.

Don't know who that would be. They are terrific on the field. Maybe they could understand our players. It seems we have a lot of players who are not exactly Sunday School teachers.
