miles aint gonna part the sea with average talent. this is a huge hire, we can spare $3.75 for less we can pony an extra couple hundred K for the best recruiter in the NCAA>

The dark ages at LSU were partly because the Asst coaches and coordinators weren't paid shite. I'm glad that has changed.

I don't get it either. I could understand UT getting super excited for O, but not LSU. LSU already recruits really well.

he's a good DL coach and recruiter...and hopefully a good motivator. A good hire for LSU that is worth being a bit upset over if Sexton did play Kiffin on this one.

we recruit well, but there's always that next level...i'm talking miami in the late 90's and early 2000's and what usc is doing now.
plus our dline has underachieved big time. we needed a new guy to coach our guys up.

Noticeable drop off in our D-line play, and you can always do better in recruiting.
