Good move to move promote. Ryan Day will be a good coach.

Day is a good hire, but think of the A list names they could get.

If they do decide to make Day just an interim, Stoops will likely be on their list with his Ohio ties.

That’s disappointing, really wanted to see a good coaching search

They should come get Mark Stoops. He would own the big10.

Fanbase loves Ryan Day, players know his system, this is the best possible outcome for tOSU considering the entire chain of events.

They’re really hoping for a Bob Stoops/Lincoln Riley situation

Lightning rarely strikes twice like that. Harbaugh about to get that win, if he can survive long enough.

Yea that would have been interesting being a top job. Kinda hard to get into GT, Maryland, and Liberty hires.

The optics on this are terrible as it looks like he's taking his ball and going home again, this time after being "snubbed" by the CFP.

I understand the health/stress angle, but dammit if he doesn't do this after bad seasons.

I wonder if there was pressure for him to retire.
You know Day was fielding numerous calls for head coach jobs and if he's your guy, why wait with Meyer's health uncertainty.
