This type of offense cannot beat Alabama. It just can't. You'll see when they get their arse kicked next week. That is why I personally don't want Chaney, or any type of pro-style offense like it.

Safe money is on either Canada or Ensminger being our OC next year IMHO.

Briles is the only one worth a shite to us on that list. The other guys are just more of the same shite we've had. Chaney's offense isn't good this year because of play calling, it's good because they have two fully healthy former 5 star senior beast RBs, another highly rated freshman RB, and what I thought was the best QB in the 2017 recruiting class. The other guy Lombardi is an NFL position coach. Brees was good before this guy and after this guy, and he was fired from the Lions as an OC after just 2 years.
Yurcich is available, Cumbie is available, Longo is available, Gilbert is available, along with Briles. The only guy LSU would have to pay a really high amount is probably Cumbie. Any of these guys would prove to me that O is serious about changing the culture wnd direction of LSU.
Those names listed outside of Briles show me what I've believed all along, 0 is in over his head and the AD should be fired along with him after 2018.
If we lose Aranda and end up with anybody in the OP's post outside of Briles, LSU will probably have its first losing season since 1999.
