Do you have the talent on O that Bama has though? That would be tough to say that's what LSU could've been. You're definitely on par with Bama on D, but not on O in my opinion.

We recruiting almost on par on offense as well, just have coaches with no damn idea how to use them or mature them...

Can't tell in a vacuum because LSU has been subject to unqualified offensive coaching the past few years. The talent is there, but LSU's offensive coaching is severely below that of Bama.

And once again the sec office has padded Bama again. Same old bullshite, asking sec teams not to hire Freeze. Then boom he is on bama's staff

Do you have any proof that the SEC asked teams to not hire Freeze? And if they did they have zero control over hiring coaches unless it's show cause related.

Maybe so. I don't know your roster like I know Bama's, admittedly. I just think I'd take Tua (or Jalen) at QB over Brennan. I'd take Bama's RB by committe of Harris and Najee over LSU's RB by committee. I like Bama's WRs of Juedy, Ruggs, and Smith, but you may have more depth (don't know).
I don't know about TE. Bama brings back 4 of 5 OL next year. I don't know what LSU brings back there.

This can not be hung on Coach O if it happens. From the beginning the BOS shot down anything to do with Freeze & JA is not near strong enough to buck the Board, so he went along with the boycott, too. From several accounts, one with good cred, Coach O wanted to meet face to face with the BOS who were against Freeze & give them his arguments. Hate all you want but at least be factual & not just spew venom.

Terrace Marshall was told Ensminger would be the OC BEFORE he signed with LSU on 12/22, before the bowl game and before Canada was even fired. There was never any search, so to say Freeze was discussed at some point after the bowl game is clearly not true in the slightest.

Yes, the report was that the SEC office (located in Birmingham) highly discouraged LSU from hiring Freeze. Surely the SEC office (located in Birmingham) wouldn't have a different position for the Univ. of Ala.?

The Orgeron apologists are lol. The rest of know we could've gone after Freeze but that was another lie to defend a lazy hire that O chose to make instead. It's really quite the political campaign he's running here. Btw, congrats on another championship. I hope we have the competence to challenge y'all soon.

Terry we recently hired a mediocre HS coach to be an offensive analyst, so I think we’re good. Not jelly here at all

I believe our offense is on Par with Bama. Bama has struggled with QB play just like we have only difference is their OC had and is better than ours. NOW,,,,,that Tua kid makes a huge difference in their level of play! That kid and freeze will be a killer offense. If we can just coach a QB there's no reason we can't be national champs!

YES, as fans we can whine because of what was a program that went out and hired coaches with criteria as follows:
1. Success at a 2nd tier football school from a big conference that the coach has built to compete against blue bloods (Saban MSU then Miles OSU)
2. And NFL experience
Criteria that worked well for the previous 15 years...
Now the criteria is Gumbo.
