There are a lot of jobs that may open up in then next 10 days. If LSU gets Fisher, Fedora will be on their short list. If Sumlin gets canned, Fedora will probably be the leading candidate for that job.

Of course the UNC AD is going to do some due diligence.

Tech can't keep a good coach. Must suck to have to swap out every 3 or 4 years.

Yet,they continue to get good coaches.

Why the angst about LSU hiring a good coach?

While I'm not impressed with Fedora, I am impressed with the UNC AD.

Proactive work would be greatly appreciated from Joe Alleva. He should take notes.

Actually he fits Alleva's description of a HC for the job more than any other candidate.

In all honesty, Fedora's agent is probably doing work getting him a raise right now

Again, why are we just accepting this is happening?

We don't truly know what's been going on behind closed doors. And say what you want about what should have happened last year, he was pretty proactive firing Les after 4 games.

It doesn't mean that he's going to LSU. Texas,ND,Oregon,FSU all possible opening.

You look at those options, yea, I'd get my list in order if I were UNC AD too.

I'd be completely fine with Fedora. I guess some of you forget what our offense has looked like the last 10 years. I can't take it anymore!! Fedora would kill it here as long as he keeps Aranda

How convincing except jf has won titles and Herman has already beaten more ranked teams than fedora

And I'm pretty sure Saban and Miles hadn't done jack shite before coming to LSU. Fedora isn't my choice, but your 1 game example doesn't really fly.

Don't forget A&M. Don't underestimate the level of frustration there. Fedora would Probably be their # 2 behind Herman.

Can't hire Jimbo because he can't beat the guy who can't beat Duke.

Fedora would be a really good hire. Knows Gulf Coast recruiting from his time at USM. He was on my list of acceptable hires if Gus was to get canned this year.

Sucks that we can't just pay Herman or Fisher and be done with it. This is no time to go cheap.

you really don't know how this works do you?

it isn't just a function of how much you pay. sorry

They kind of have to have a contingency plan in place just in case. That's what a competent AD does. That's foreign to us.
