He's got unc in top 25 in recruiting coming off sanctions at a place that doesn't historically recruit well in football. Fedora would be a solid hire.

UNC fan here. Don't believe the original post at all. Not convinced Fedora would leave and we certainly wouldn't move to Skip if he did.

I am good with a Fedora hire. People say we want an offensive minded coach, well boys he is one of the best minds.
I also believe with LSU ability to attract top defensive prospects this could actually be a home run hire.
I personally hope we go into the middle of January before we name our guy. This search needs to intensive.

I've heard thru many insiders that fedora absolutely wands the Lsu job. So he kindof lines up with what many have heard. If the op is true it doesnt mean anything is set in stone. Could be him just getting out in front of things If it does.

This has been a pretty consistent narrative. Like he wouldn't care being option 3 or 4.
ETA What's his draw to LSU? Have never heard anything on that. Just a better job?

What is the feel in Chapel Hill regarding Fedora's future? How do would you personally feel about him leaving? He seems fine, underwhelming but fine with the right staff around him. I don't have any UNC folks around so you seem like a fine chap to ask
