Because Bama and Saban keep winning nattys. The time for LSU to get back in the game is NOW.

On topic, if I'm Louisiana Tech's AD, and Holtz leaves, the first person I offer that job to is Ed Orgeron (assuming some things fall accordingly).

Our fans are so short-sighted. Fedora would be a great hire. It's a shame our fans can't realize what Fedora could do with the talent he would have here.

All you guys claiming Fedora can't recruit are clueless. The layout of the program, recruiting effort, and quality support staff rivals that of what Dabo has in Clemson. Also, much because of what has happened in the past, Carolina football does not actively pursue JUCO football players and does stress academic standards in recruiting. Fedora also prides in having coaches physically visit every high school in the state when on the recruiting trail, emphasizing positive relationships with thr state's high school coaches.

Who?

Miles. He was 16-12 in the SEC over the last 4 years when he got canned. He still had to play Bama, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mizzou, and A&M this season.

Bama and UF are still losses under Miles.. that would put him at 16-14. Not exactly a stellar record.

He was losing this team and him finishing .500 in the SEC over the last 4 years was looking probable

Agreed - But think about who's making the decisions.

Welp, it is what it is I guess...

Sucks that we can't just pay Herman or Fisher and be done with it. This is no time to go cheap.

I see what youre saying here, but,... Herman is going to Texas, cant outbid that... and I honestly think that Jimbo is not worth the money he is asking.. he is asking Saban type money.. I just dont see it... hes good, but he aint that damn good.. pair up a good HC with a exciting offense with our DC or our reputation for hiring good DC's and we are a damn good football team..

Gundy-Fedora-Morris would all be really good hires imo.. I dont think herman will do well at Texas.. let him go.. he still has alot to prove... Briles proved it... Sumlin hasnt.. both had success in houston..

Houston is already pegging TAMU's OC as its next coach.. Spavital or whatever his name is..
