Think he'd be a better OC than Cam Cameron?

Honestly his in game coaching really isn't that bad and I don't think he's a bad coach overall. ULM is just a really hard place to succeed at and he had a tough go with injuries. I really feel like that 2012 team (the way it started before the injury bug bit) is what he was capable of doing if given full support.

With that said even injuries falls on coaching to an extent and I honestly do feel like it was just time to go in a different direction. I don't think firing him before the end of the season was necessarily the right way to handle it unless something was going on behind the scenes I wasn't aware about. I mean the year couldn't have gotten any worse.

I agree with this. He always seemed to gameplan and use his talent well.

the problem is ULM's president doesn't give their coaching staff much of a leash on which to recruit players

Will ULM hire an assistant or go after an FCS head coach?

Truth. I feel like Bruno goes over board to an extent with how he handles some academic policies here. I mean I understand he's trying to improve our image and all but we're not fricking Stanford letting in a couple subpar academic wise athletes a year won't hurt anything.

You're right were just a division 1 fbs university. No assistant or fcs coach looking to jump start their career would ever want to come here.

Can't think of one.
Hasn't happened at ULL either or at any sunbelt school that I can think of except for Arkie State and W Kentucky.
