Hiring McDaniels would be an unmitigated disaster....and if by some chance it works out, he would bolt for the NFL ASAP.

he just may be at the same time the worst GM of all time

While obviously an upgrade from the idiot who was coaching us the last 4 years this would be a massively shortsighted hire unless it came with some sort of insane buyout clause that required say 25 million paid to the athletic department to take an NFL job or something.
