MMR Group. A large, multi-national instrumentation and electrical contracting company headquartered in BR and founded by Pepper Rutland an ex LSU linebacker in the early 70’s.

UOX is controlled by the university. It is also smaller. Bigger jets prefer Tupelo. Longer runway and less BS.

And they will probably let them get gas in Tupelo. Just to be safe they should add enough fuel for a round trip flight.

It's a public airport though, don't believe they can turn planes away, though I doubt the FBO will give them a friendly reception.

At one time was married to my neighbors when I was growing up in Sherwood Forest. He used to bring me all kinds of team stuff, including an autographed football.

My money is on MMR/LSU playing it safe with this scenario. For all parties involved. Oxford FBO is run by the university and likely giving them trouble.
