Thought I heard/read that TT & AU had "redone" his contract like a week or 2 ago ... ???

Oh, and I guess now I should feel bad about asking my friend why she didn't send TT down the slopes in Steamboat when she saw him there ...

Tubby def. is not a skier. Have you seen the guy, he can't move his neck at all.

I wouldn't know if he's a skier or not ... but a couple of years ago my friend calls from Steamboat & says "hey, guess who we just saw" and tells me it was TT ... don't know if he was on skies, in the lodge or what but my LSU instinct told me to have her just push him down the nearest mountain!

He could coach us to an SEC title if les can go twice!

Additionally if LSU is fortunate enough to be in a BCS title game then we can chop block our opposition into the ultimate losing effort!

This is nothing more than bama fans trying to get Tubby out of Auburn. "The A&M job isn't available anymore so let's try LSU"

There was a good reason why Tubby was almost fired in the failed coup. He was firing his coordinators every season, throwing them under the bus, for at least 3 straight years, and was struggling on the field. Not horribly so, but he was struggling. One SEC championship in 9 years does not make him a "great" coach in my opinion. Then, throw in his reputation as a junior Saban, always looking for "greener" grass. People here knock Saban for many reasons, but one of the biggest is that he is a liar. To quote Tubby: "the only way I will ever leave O.Miss is in a pine box". He was gone less than a WEEK later. That quote is a little bit more direct than Saban's "I will not be the coach at Alabama" comment. If Tubby is hired, he will potentially split our fan base. That is not how to get started for the 2008 season.

Tubby has participated in a National Championship parade and has a mythical national championship ring on his finger. Miles has neither.

every year Tubby has games that are pure headscratchers, like MSU this year, Ga Tech a couple of times. His teams also haven't performed well in bowls against lesser teams, with plenty of time to prepare. Outside of 04, there's quite a bit of evidence that he wouldn't do any better than Miles has...

whether he knew about it or not, he should have disciplined that little punk after the fact. nothing was done by TT.

Exactly. Seeing as how nothing was done in the aftermath, the only logical conclusion to be drawn is that Ramsey was following orders.

I also agree with the poster who said this is Bama stirring shite up.

Man it would be hard for me to see Tubby on the LSU sideline ! I love to hate the guy! That being said, he is a good coach...but I could only support him if Muschamp came with him. Besides, it would get under the Aubies & Bama fans skin, that's worth something !
