I don’t get the Dabo hate. I think the fit may be iffy, but you can’t argue that he is the most accomplished coach in the game right now not named Saban. He built Clemson into a power and has won 2 nattys

The hate for him is it's CEO 3x in a row. Granted, he's a CEO hire way better than Miles or Orgeron but we want an X and Os guy now. Tired of needing to rely on great hires all around to do anything on a football team.

Dabo has had several OCs hired and still kept a potent offense, enough to say that it is Dabo’s offense. He’s established that he has a process and program that can replace assistants without missing a beat. Granted, he has had Venables lock down the defensive side for years.
Dabo may have started as a CEO type, but he has moved way past that now in his career

Sounds like Mel Tucker has been offered a raise and has no reason to dangle the LSU job over Michigan state. And perhaps he's extremely happy there and wants to stay at a job more than two years for once.
