Saban was "meh" and people were downright PISSED when Miles got the job
those seem to have worked in our favor

I'll say this about Malzahn. He stopped chizik from kicking the field goal with :10 left last night and giving Oregon an opportunity at getting the ball back and a kick return.
I thought it was moronic that Chizic didnt think to do that in the first place. My roommate and I (very drunk) were screaming the same thing to the TV. That showed me more that Chizik is an idiot thatn it did that Malzahn is a football genius
FTR- He is a great coach though

I am mostly intrigued by Malzahn since it could lead to The Chief being retained...I think Malzahn is to offense what Saban is to defense...
+1
I don't love Chavis, but I don't mind him either.

Or just a cam newton to bail them out of every 3rd and short.
Much like Urban and Tim Tebow.
Urban wasn't so great without his freak QB

Saban was not meh...he sounded great in his press conference when he was introduced. He had success in rebuilding two programs and had NFL coaching experience...he brought in a good staff...Saban was a great hire at the time.

Tubbs, as many of you call him, has no chance to even get an interview with LSU.....book it

my point was that a substantial percentage of the LSU fanbase said "Who?"
our fanbase wanted Richt at that time, and they wanted him badly. The mindset was that some guy from the NFL and Michigan St. would not know how to recruit in the south.

i recall this being a "meh" hire, but people were going to be unhappy with anyone following Saban.

Y'all sound like the same Auburn idiots who were all angry about the Chizik hire. Relax.

On the radio in Austin they had Lance something or other on from Jox radio and he said that he feels Les leaves and the leading candidate would be Patterson.
Dude, read up on Lance from something or other. His info is always legit.

I don't think Mullen would leave MSU for LSU, if he didn't leave for Florida. and you can bet they tried to get him. then again, maybe Mullen had some beef with Florida brass and did not want to step into it again.

Problem is that we don't have a Cam Newton on out roster.
I'm still on the fence as to weather Gus is a genius or Newtom made him look like one.

Don't think Florida AD wanted a Meyer staff member. Said that much.
