from the JOX Round Table show. Cited someone named Pennington as saying that; not sure who that is

TT missed out on that gig by a few days last time...bet he doesn't let that happen again.

If Tuberville leaves for any other job, looks like Sonny could land back at Texas Tech

Slapping the Grad Assist will cost him that gig.

I don't necessarily think so. This report is coming out today

Didn't look like he slapped him to me...looks like he pulled his headset off.

To each his own...I'm not going to get bent out of shape over TT ripping a headset off of a grown arse man.
Besides, that isn't typical TT as best I can tell. I don't see it keeping anybody from being interested in him as a coach.
Just my opinion.

So you think Tennessee is going to hire Tuberville?

I assure you that our boosters aren't going to pursue Gruden, strike out, and then just give up and settle for Tuberville.

Tennessee is by far to me the most interesting of the "job openings" since Dooley hasn't officially been fired yet we can't say for 100% certainty it's open. Just 99.9999 and some change though.
Tennessee is going to have to IMO pick up a coach who can run some gimmicky offense. They're just not going to be able to recruit with Florida, Georgia and now apparently South Carolina in their own division.
So if you can't win one way, you'll have to find another. If I were them, I'd go after Malzahn.
Your defense is gonna blow chunks forever, but you'll score a lotta points, and win a few games maybe you shouldn't.

Nick Saban has had endless verbal tirades on National TV
