If no promotion from within happens, he would make the easiest transition for the players imo. Not the sexy hire , but I could see it happening

I highly doubt he’s going to leave Alabama for a lateral move to LSU. Try again.

Saban would let him go and definitely wouldn’t get in a bidding war for him. I’ve been pretty patient and even keeled with coaching changes, portal, filling needs etc. I’d melt if we hired Rees. He hasn’t been very good anywhere and would be a terrible hire. Alabama’s offense was the worst it’s been in years this year. They were especially bad in passing.

I think most Alabama fans have been happy with Rees down the stretch. It was always a tall task replacing what Alabama lost off the 2022 offense. He did a great job considering.

I don’t think he will leave for anything short of a head coaching job. But you never know. Especially considering the connections. But he’s got a lot coming back in 2024. Could use that to land a head coaching job.

I dont want him but, anybody would rather not work for dickhead Saban. Coaches use him to get better jobs……Nobody likes working for him

LOL, tell me again how you know nothing about Coaching.
All you are doing is showing your obsession and ignorance, pretty pitiful.
Hope you are not that miserable for all of Christmas.

Somebody didn't pay attention to the 2nd half of the season.

I don’t like it period, but I am not too concerned. His contract is north of $2MM/year if I am not mistaken and that is several $100ks more than Denbrock was making prior to his extension, which was never signed.

I am expecting a young up and comer who has fielded a Top 50 Offense at least twice over the last few years, or an Old Buck who has consistently done it for a larger number of years. Contract in the $1.5MM/year range.

Brian Kelly is going to try to steal him away from Nick Saban. This will be one for the ages if it happens.

Nah, no one was calling for Rees when he was at ND. One year at Alabama isn’t going to change that.

I think it’s who Kelly seeks first. He wanted him when he came to BR, no reason to think he doesn’t try again
