There was been a little chatter elsewhere this morning about Todd Monken being our choice for OC. He would be a great OC for us. Has anyone heard anything about him?

About a decade ago he was my top choice. Solid offense. Miles trusted him to open it up etc.

Please god no. That offense is very underwhelming. It depends on the defense to thrive. Alabama exposed that. Just like 2011 LSU offense.

I've always suspected Kirby somewhat handcuffed him? I mean do you think Monken is choosing to play Stetson Bennett?

It's the same offense as Kelly's at ND. And Denbrock at Cincy. And Manning at ISU.

Saban coaches Db's he is not a defensive cord. Georgias coaches blew that game. Saban barely beat LSU's third string team by six points.
