Assuming Canada is out, would Monken be a possible candidate at LSU?

He was a WR coach at LSU under Miles and is currently the offensive coordinator for the Buccaneers. Their staff will likely get fired. So is there a chance he could be LSU's next offensive coordinator?

O would make Carl Smith say no.

Then offer Ensminger a promotion as a backup policy.

It’s far from the worst idea that I’ve ever heard. His offense is eerily similar to Canada’s.

I remember when the rant freaked that Miles might make him OC.

He left Southern Miss with the goal to become an NFL head coach. Don't see him going back to the college game as a coordinator.

Well he sure as hell isn't getting an NFL HC gig after this, so he's going to have to do a bit of a reset.

I knew him when he lived in BR. Miles offered him the OC job, but the Administration vetoed it.

He is not coming back to LSU.

His reset would be a G5 HC job, not the 4th OC in 3 years at LSU.

There aren't any head jobs available at the moment.

Yes

Miles was forced to keep Jimbo when he took the job and never got a long with him. When Jimbo left, Miles wanted to promote one of "his guys." He told Monken he would be OC. Admins vetoed Miles decision, so Crowton was hired.

Seems like history is repeating.

Well one had to happen on the fly and wasn't a bad offense, team boat raced every one but bama. The other didn't work out, a lot of pressure on that D because Lee set the record for pic sixes, LSU moved on and the d was back on track.

If Canada does leave, let's hope Ed can make a better hire this go round.
