Saban is reaching deep into the rehab well here. Locksley was impressive, but this would really be something else.

They are going to end up with Grantham and Freddie Kitchens, aren’t they?

so Saban lets the DC go but hires the analyst under him from that same defense? Some Ed O vibes there

I highly doubt that Grantham is hired, but guess you have not followed along much.

Saban has promoted a ton of analysts to the job on the field. Kiffin, Sark, Locksley...

I would assume grantham is on the radar as an analyst. just keep golden if you're bringing in grantham as dc.

I’d imagine Austin Armstrong gets the co-DC role either way. But Grantham isn’t justifiable in any scenario. But as tighter lipped as all of this has been, I have to imagine there are other options.

Grantham isn't on anybody that is reputable list.

He shouldn't be. But the mad has flat out made a name on being 3rd and Grantham and it's borderline amazing.

They'll get a good DC and OC. Saban isn't going to lay down and die with Bama. That said, he definitely has one foot out the door in retirement. Only a matter of time at this point especially since NIL will prevent Bama from staying a dynasty now. You'll more than likely see some big power shifts in NCAA over next decade.

I never understood the Grantham hate. He did a good job at MSU in 2017

He isn’t elite but he isn’t terrible either

He’s overly aggressive. Boom or bust.

Don’t have to worry about that, Grantham said no thanks too.
