3 hours of "we are going to make some calls" and that is it.

I read about it over here, went over to TB and there was nothing. Then after a little while later it was "some recruits said some stuff, we're going to make some calls" and that is juuuuuust about it.

No one does really. It's almost like thy hired BG and figured they would give him a posistion to coach later. If Stud is really gone then we STILL aren't done hiring. I do think GC is staying, Tolbert is out and we just catapulted ourselves to fricking platinum status in recruiting. This staff is built to bring in hoards of talent from some traditionally deep areas and it seems that their track record says they will coach them at least decently. Miles is knocking it out of the park right now and the only way it could get better assuming GC does stay is if we somehow lured Searles back to BR

Looking over Billy Gonzales' recruiting pulls over the last few years is mind blowing.

Won't happen, him and Miles didn't get along according to former players

There's quite a few great ones.

FSU just hired Eddie Gran who is one of the best in the biz. That would have been a better hire than Frank Wilson IMO.

Frank Wilson was more about his ties to Louisiana, I think.

Eddie Gran is a lights out coach and recruiter, though..most definitely.

Wilson was the better hire because in one move you basically lock the door on Louisiana and take one of, if not the biggest, threats in recruiting away from a conference rival. Wilson isn't the absolute best coach in the game but he isn't a slouch and has coached up some talent at OM and UTe. Now with Gonzales you put yourself in basically every Florida high school north of Dade County and there is a TON of talent that we almost never get our hands om because of UF. I'm very pleased with Miles' coaching moves so far

Plus it seems with Gonzo you get some of the east coast as well.
