What are your thoughts on the guy?? Solid Oline recruiter and LSU recruits itself with WR RB and now QB(thank you Burrow)
Just throwing a name out there.

Mario will take only one SEC job.

It's who TDsngumbo was actually referring to.

Mario is far more than a solid oline recruiter. He's a top 3 recruiter in the country. LSU could do a lot worse

Did i miss something? Did orgeron have success previously? I get the old CEO deal some of you feel strongly about but Cristobal is a really good coach. Cristobal has had massive success wherever he’s been. I don’t think we can pry him away from Oregon though.

He lost by like 50 points to Utah a couple of weeks ago. He can come coach our o-line but that's it.

Seriously I don't understand why SW isn't going after Cristobal unless Mario already told him no.

An oline coach that brings nothing else to the table...see Les Miles

I wouldn’t be upset with Cristobal but this is false. He went 27-47 at FIU.

How many conference titles? 1
He was shitty at FIU (which is OK) and has been so-so at UO.
He turned a generational QB into a mediocre college QB while at UO, too.
That's not "massive" success

So so at Oregon? Some of you forget where Oregon dropped to. He brought them back from the dead. Yes, I’m sure there’s a long list of coaches who have had massive success at FIU. The guy has been an OC, assistant head coach, he is the best oline coach in the country and his offenses are legit. Is he a perfect candidate? No. There isn’t one not named Saban.
Posted on 11/28/21 at 10:21 am to StevieG504
He will replace saban at bama. I think we really should be going after him though.

StevieG504- The first mistake you made was asking the question. You needed to make a statement referring to your imaginary sources, because that’s what these people believe, if you can say you got sources, they lap it up like a dog drinking water.

Christobal is rumored to want the job at The U when Manny is let go... whenever that is.

Until USC gets it together (if they even can) Oregon is the creme of the crop in the PAC 12 with very little resistance. Nike $$ would make it virtually impossible to lure him and he has significant recruiting advantages up there.
I actually would be really excited if he was the guy but don’t see it as a realistic possibility.
