Most intelligent and sensible people realize it’s misdirection. The OP said an announcement could happen tomorrow; if that was the case Delly and the usual well sourced media contacts would have stories up already.

Terrible take. LSU/ Alleva fricked Jimbo over the year before that when clown Joe decided to keep Les after the aTm win where they carried him off. A deal was in place for Jimbo to the be the new HC several days before that. Nothing had been signed at that time but there was a deal that was verbally agreed on and at the conclusion of LSUs regular season, Les would’ve been fired and Jimbo introduced as the new HC in the following days.
In regards to this coaching search, I have no clue. There was communication with Jimbos camp but to what extent, I have no idea
