I thought the same thing when I read it. I had to condense it to make it fit.

I have to admit after a sub par season the prospect of hiring a new DC is a little exciting, sorta like a new car. I never really liked pelini, I think he was good and had impressive stats I just like a more agressive, dare I say saban like d. Whomever knows how to slow down the spread, and brings pressure, I am all for.

Worked under Charlie Weatherby 6 years. Charlie was a qb at Okie State and stopped to visit with a certain kid before a big game. (That was me) Gotta go with Bumpus too.

TCU is in the mountain west. They don't play anyone worth a shite, so I would rather an SEC defensive coordinator.

sorry but you fail. Actually, how many times has OU scored LESS than 35 on someone. TX? That's it. All other scores are in the high 40's, 50's and 60's. They are putting up insane numbers and their lowest yield came against lowly TCU and a loss to TX.

Muschamp is running Saban's system, Bumpas runs Patterson's. Big F'ing deal.

And Mallory is running Pelini's. Some guys aren't cut out to run the show themselves.

I'm not saying Bumpas is like Mallory, but there is risk in hiring an understudy. Personally, I'd MUCH rather Greg Robinson.

Weaver, don't downplay TCU. And the Mountain West ain't that bad. TCU is as good as we are this year. And how do you figure that we're going to snatch a SEC D coord? You take the best available.

Tell me something about Greg Robinson I won't find on Google that sells you on why he would be the man.

I respect your opinions is why I'm asking. Thanks.

Yeah like in 06 when he held Wilson and OU to 10!

OU lost 5 games that year.

And Wilson wasn't the OC.

He's coached for 30 years and played in the SEC......I'm sure he knows what he is doing!

Especially impressive co-coordinating at Houston with, you guessed it, none other than Bradley Dale Peveto.

It's obvious that the 3 guys we are looking at are Bumpas, Chavis, and Greg Robinson. Can someone tell us a little about each of these guys and why they would be good for us? Where have they coached before? What kind of defense do they run? I don't know anything about these guys.
