It's obvious that the 3 guys we are looking at are Bumpas, Chavis, and Greg Robinson.

I find it hard to believe anyone who worked for Jimmy Johnson that long would be a push over. JJ doesn't seem like the type to surround himself with yes men.

is this a joke? Wade Phillips is the worlds biggest yes man.

And that actually does scare me about Campo too. He and Miles both are the nice guy. Someone with actual authority needs to be there to put a foot up a kid's arse. The cowboys' DBs pulled Campo's pants down in front of the world at practice and he nearly cried.

The fact that campo works under Philips tells all. Trust me order HBO and watch Hard Knocks and you would know what we are talking about.

Again, I didn't watch Hard Knocks. From his resume he is worth talking too at least. I'm not saying he should get the job.

Ok enough with Campo talk it won't happen. An NFL guy is the last thing we need.

I'd pass on a guy that was co-defensive coordinator once in college football and gave up over 30 points per game.

NFL guys aren't used to defending unconventional offenses like the stupid spread. Look Miami's wild cat formation....its driving teams nuts right now.

some hate recruiting though...and the fact that you can't make a quick trade during mid-season to fix a weak spot

College guys are also in college because they're not good enough to make it to the NFL, period. To compare someone like Bumpas who hasn't progressed past puppet DC of someone else's defense at mid-major schools in the past 20 years favorably to NFL guys is a little out there.

Bo Pelini didn't recruit

Norm Chow doesn't recruit

how many mid season trades are made TOTAL in the NFL each year? 1 or 2?

The only 2 NFL guys I would really really want are Monty Kiffin or Rex Ryan.

How much is LSU willing to pay for a DC?

Peveto and Mallory make 300K each for base pay + bowl bonuses.

Thats over 700K to be offered for a DC
