If LSU isn’t calling Arnett, Leonhard, and Lukabu.. then I don’t know what LSU is doing..

It really seemed like the plan was getting ascending, young talent.

Missed on one, ok.. call another.

Steele is going the wrong direction. I’m not a big Reeves guy. I still think Clark runs that ship. Could be wrong.

Btw: Leonhard is probably ready to move on. Chryst is going retire there. I doubt Jim wants to sit there for another decade. He is a 3-4 guy.

I know Reeves well and he’d be an excellent hire.

Why is everyone saying Steele today? Because of that stupid Oregon duck article?

Reeves might be a good hire, but doesn’t fit the plan.

And I’m not sure where Steele speculation came from today. I just got on.. and was wondering where that came from.

Correct.

You don't know what they're doing.

Solid post. Arnett or Leonard would be stellar. But bottom line, we need a (proven) up-and-comer at the DC position.

It’s not uncommon to understand the direction of a franchise, program, business or organization based on the decisions they are making.

Although we might not have inside info, we can see the plan forming.

But, go ahead and be a dick to a complete stranger. Bet you feel like a big, tough guy.

Arnett and Leonhard are both proven and their stock is on the rise.

A defensive coordinator in the SEC is not an “up-and-comer”

That might have come out wrong. I meant that Arnett would be a stellar hire because he is a proven DC and an up-and-comer. The bottom line is that we should hire someone who is both a proven/current DC (this could even be at a smaller school) and an up-and-comer. I am not in favor of someone like Steele who likely has little gas left in the tank, or an NFL coach who hasn't been a DC at the college level for years.

Edit: Basically, I completely agree with Chalky and Iowa above.

This is a no brainer if Woodward and Austin Thomas want to make a splash hire.

It seems as if your feelings were hurt.

All I did was state the obvious, that you don't know what the plan is - none of us do.

How was that wrong?
