The name that keeps coming up in my head...if it happens.

Please spare me the GTFO posts...and post some serious thoughts. I'll give you my serious reasons.
Tommy Tuberville-
1- Hates west TX and would leap at the chance to get back in the SEC.
2- Has stated that the LSU job would be one he would be interested in because of the natural recruiting influx.He has also had some time to develop some TX relationships..and very feeisble for TX athletes to come to BR..
3- Is a relitively safe hire who has big program SEC experience. Name another one out there?
4-Has a chip on his shoulder for two reasons. First for having to play second fiddle at Ole Miss to the rest of the SEC (He still had some success) and Auburn to Alabama (even though he pretty much dominated their arse at the end.
Also he wants to kick AU's arse so bad for the way they treated him..Petrino's arse to show that AU was crazy for considering a change behind his back..
This deal could be done in 24 hrs..and Tommy would hit the ground guns blazing to keep the recruting class intact and to win over the LSU fan base and possibly steal a few recruits out of TX.

No thanks...if anyone in conference I'd go get the gun slinger, old ball coach, great one. He may only last two years, but we'd win a lot by a lot.

I like Tommy, but he would repeat his old cycles again at LSU. He'd have some success, and then get lazy on recruiting, especially thinking about how sweet having the state of LA all to yourself is.
