I've read the arguments over methods (spread vs. pro-style) and I've seen nice summaries of the candidates coaching resumes, but what I really want to know is...

Have the candidates demonstrated good clock management skills?

Seriously. I love Les, but we aren't going to get this from him. That means our OC has to cover it.

In college, if you can Develop a qb, you're gonna do quite well.

The x's and o's don't matter nearly as much as the Jimmy's an the Joe's. If you can develop qb's your rep will make recruiting that much easier and it allows players to trust your system. They know if they buy in, everything will take care of itself.

Good post

Crowton wasn't very personable to the players.. Wasn't a good recruiter ect

I'd love an OC that wants to recruit for LSU

I really don't care what style we run. I just want an OC to utilize the talent provided.

NFW.....if this is not covered by the OC it needs to be covered by another coach. Nobody currently on staff has demonstrated the ability. If the OC cna't do it, we will need to make 2 changes on the offensive side of the ball, IMHO.
